NUEVAS PATOLOGÍAS GES
Señora directora: Desde 2015 existe el GES. Un conjunto de beneficios que garantiza un acceso oportuno y cobertura financiera al diagnóstico y tratamiento de enfermedades que se consideran de altoimpacto y relevancia.
Esta ley garantiza protección financiera, la persona beneficiaria cancelará un porcentaje; oportunidad, tiempos máximos de espera para el otorgamiento delas derecho por Ley ala prestación de Salud, y calidad, otorgamiento de las prestaciones por un prestador acreditado. Pocos saben que cada tresañosserealiza una actualización de su decreto, donde se define la incorporación de nuevos problemas de salud o nuevas intervenciones en problemas ya garantizados. Esto a través de un estudio de costo esperado por beneficiario y los recursos disponibles del país, el que se espera que culmine a fines de este año o inicios del próximo. Una vez concluido, se definirán los nuevos problemas de salud queseránincorporados, através del decreto GES 2025-2028.
El último decreto GES fue dictado en 2022 y consideró el aumento de 85 a 87 enfermedades, incorporando la rehabilitación por COVID-19 y la atención integral - avíctimas de agresión sexual, definiendo diagnóstico, tratamiento y seguimiento - Sarantizado para cada una.
Respecto a los eventuales problemas - de salud que podrían ser incorporados a - este decreto, están la endometriosis en personas de 15 años, consumo de tabaco - en personas de 15 años y más, abordaje integral del dolor crónico no oncológico - en personas de 45 años y más, trastorno del espectro autista, depresión en personas menores de 18 años, pesquisa neonatal - ampliada, entre otros. Son patologías que - afectan la calidad de vida de los pacientes, además de generar costosimportantes para las familias.
