Insular apuesta por especies nativas resistentes para reforestar Chile y mitigar la crisis hídrica
Desde Los Lagos, Región de LosRíos, la empresa Insular ejecuta un proyecto CORFO para encontrar plantas nativasresistentes a la sequía, mejorando los procesos de reforestación, restauración e incrementando la captura de carbono. Estoresponde ala demanda de CONAF, FAO, fundaciones y particularesenla mitigación del cambio climático.
La firma opera en viveros en Paicaví (Los Ríos), Longotoma (Valparaíso) y We Aliwen (RM). Además, colaboran con la Universidad de Concepción y son parte de Botanic Gardens Conservation International, una red global que preserva plantas y conecta jardines botánicos.
