Investigan causa del accidente aéreo que dejó 62 fallecidos EL AVIÓN con pasajeros se estrelló en una zona residencial de la ciudad de Vinhedo, So Paulo (Brasil). EFE Las autoridades brasileñas trabajaban ayer para esclarecer la causa exacta de un accidente aéreo ocurrido el viernes en el estado de So Paulo, en el que fallecieron las 62 personas que iban a bordo del avión. Se especula que una formación de hielo en las alas de la aeronave habría originado esta desgracia. El aparato, de la aerolínea local Voepass, se dirigía al aeropuerto internacional de Guarulhos, en So Paulo, con 58 pasajeros y cuatro tripulantes a bordo cuando se estrelló en la ciudad de Vinhedo. Las imágenes grabadas por testigos mostraban cómo el avión caía girando sobre sí mismo hasta estrellarse contra el piso en el interior de una comunidad residencial cerrada. El fuselaje quedó consumido por el incendio posterior.
Los responsables de la investigación esperan que las cajas negras del aparato, rescatadas el viernes, ofrezcan las primeras pistas sobre las causas de la tragedia, de la que aún no tienen hipótesis concretas. "En este momento, los investigadores trabajan en la extracción de los datos de los grabadores de vuelo (cajas negras) para buscar explicaciones a lo ocurrido", afirmó ayer el director del Centro de Investigación y Prevención de Accidentes Aéreos (Cenipa) de la Fuerza Aérea Brasileña, el brigadier general Marcelo Moreno.
El general dijo que es prematuro comentar las diferentes teorías que han señalado especialistas sobre las causas del accidente, la principal de las cuales es sobre la posible acumulación de hielo en las alas de la aeronave, que explicaría su caída de manera vertical. En un comunicado previo, el centro apuntó que los pilotos no pidieron ayuda ni reportaron condiciones meteorológicas adversas. Tampoco había evidencias de que trataron de contactar a los controladores de los aeropuertos regionales, explicó el ministro de Puertos y Aeropuertos, Silvio Costa Filho.
Los equipos de rescate, en tanto, concluyeron ayer el retiro de entre los escombros del avión de las 62 víctimas que iban a bordo, dos de los cuales, el piloto y el copiloto, fueron identificados mediante exámenes de dactiloscopia. Entre los pasajeros, además, se reportó que habían 3 venezolanos y una portuguesa.
Según los bomberos, los cuerpos que estaban en la parte trasera del aparato, estaban en estado de difícil identificación, ya que varios quedaron calcinados producto del incendio posterior, y necesitarán técnicas como las de comparación genética para su reconocimiento.
