EL USO DE LAS REDES SOCIALES Y EL CYBERBULLYING ANALIZADOS EN ENCUENTRO EDUCACIONAL ORGANIZADO POR FIDE en encuentro educacional organizado por FIDE L a Federación de Instituciones de Educación Particular (FIDE) desarrolló una charla en dependencias del Liceo Politécnico Belén de Copiapó, ocasión en que se analizó el tema de las redes sociales en la educación.
Al respecto, Edgardo Araya Rojas, miembro nacional de la FIDE dijo que " nos encontramos viendo uno de los temas contingentes que es las redes; el uso, bueno y aquellas situaciones que no son tan buenas; sobre todo que afectan el desarrollo del estudiante y la interacción con los demás compañeros. Al respecto hemos detectado en escuelas que los estudiantes han perdido la interacción, el juego con el otro, sobre todo los más chicos que no salen a recreo a jugar, salen a ver el celular. Es una situación que afecta, incluso el aprendizaje de los estudiantes. Otra situación que hemos visto es cómo a través de las redes sociales se está realizando el cyberbullying.
Estudiantes han sido vulnerados en sus derechos por otras personas que se hacen pasar por menores de edad, solamente para hacer un mal". Recalcó el directivo que " son situaciones que nos preocupan e intentamos en este encuentro, es tener esa conciencia e ir formando no solamente a nuestros profesionales, replicar con los padres y apoderados; que también sepan cuáles son las consecuencias del mal uso de las redes sociales.
No nos vamos a concretar en el buen uso, porque tiene muchos, las redes sociales y la tecnología vinieron para quedarse; pero hay que alertar por aquello que no se está haciendo bien". Por su parte, Carlos Correa, presidente regional de FIDE Atacama, destacó " esta actividad corresponde a un seminario, con la idea central de poder abordar la temática de la utilización de las redes sociales, especialmente por nuestros adolescentes.
La idea global es poder entregarle herramientas a nuestros docentes, padres y apoderados y a la comunidad en general, para abordar este tema". La temática fue abordada por el académico de la Universidad Católica de Chile, facultad de Comunicaciones, Daniel Calvert y participaron docentes y directivos..
